Earring Holder Stand

Jewelry stands can be a very unique and decorative element to your bedroom.  An earring holder stand can be a functional piece to hang earrings and possibly other types of jewelry, depending on the design.  It’s an added bonus when you can get a creatively designed stand to be a great piece on its own.

A very neat looking earring holder is shaped like a woman wearing a dress with an animal print on one side.  The dress portion is made of a stiff wire mesh that will accommodate the hook style and post style earrings.  You would be able to hang necklaces and bracelets from the arms.  This stand would look even more intriguing with an array of earrings adorning the dress.  Although one side has a fabric over it, earrings can still be put through the fabric and through the mesh holes.

A jewelry stand can be made out of many types of materials like acrylic, wire, wrought iron, plastic, acrylic, wood and many others.  Making your own earring hanger is pretty easy with one piece of wire.  Just tie the ends of the wire to something to allow it to be taut and you now have a sturdy area to hang your hook style or hoop earrings.  There are also a number of ways you can construct an earring holder with a number of household items.  Any type of mesh material will work, like a mesh grease splatter, strainer or sieve from the kitchen; the material for screens, although you’ll need to get creative on how your going to make it taut – you could use a whole screen and prop it up on your dresser or hang it from the wall.

There’s an interesting type of earring holder that is of wire construction and formed into cute wire frame dresses.  There aren’t any actual holes to fit the earring through as most earring holders have but the inter-looping of the wire creates a number of areas to be able to fit any style of earring through.  Necklaces or bracelets will also be able to drape beautifully over these wire forms. Two or three of these standing together would be a great bedroom decoration without any jewelry, but you might as well make them functional too.

A great gift idea would be a jewelry stand as almost any women or girl has some jewelry to display.  Displaying, rather than just storing, jewelry is a much-preferred option for a couple of reasons.  First, the jewelry is a great decoration on its own; having the pieces out and visible adds a cozy personal touch to any bedroom.  Being able to see what is available to wear makes it more likely the jewelry will get used more and easier to make the decision on what the accessorize with.
